God is writing your future, and it’s going to be a beautiful story... ❤️

Meet Nathan, Katie, and Aedan… One of the sweetest little families you will ever meet!

Nathan popped the question after kayaking on Lake Springfield and then blindfolded Katie and drove her to a family surprise party! What a sweetheart. 💚💜

Katie and Nathan wanted to do their engagement session near the lake where Nathan proposed and where they enjoy spending time. We thought this was super sweet! It’s refreshing seeing others honor the special times in our lives. Too often we get caught up with life and forget to appreciate the special memories, like when God blesses us with the missing puzzle pieces. 🧩

And Aedan. Oh, what an adorable little man. 👀 Aedan kept us on our toes and had more energy than we knew what to do with!! But we’re glad he did, because we did a lot of walking during our photography session. There seemed to be many trails sprawling throughout Abraham Lincoln Memorial Garden Nature Center and along Lake Springfield. Aedan had no issue with it, but might have preferred spending his entire time swinging between Nathan and Katie!

Our walk through the park was rather eventful! We saw a ton of bugs. Ton of spiders 🕷… and spider webs 🕸. And I (Chris) got bit up by mosquitos 🦟 (per usual 🤷🏻‍♂️). But Aedan won the day by making friends with a couple fawns 🦌, who were NOT shy at all! It’s possible they would have eaten out of his hand had he had something tasty for them. 😂😂😂

In November, this little family will be uniting, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their special day!

Thank you, Nathan, Katie, and Aedan for trusting us with your engagement and wedding photography! CONGRATULATIONS!

Much Love,

She will move mountains...

Wow! Where to start with this amazing little family. Vince and Kelsey, we love you.

Vince and Kelsey are about to go from college sweethearts to mom and dad, and we’re SO EXCITED to meet little baby Cambruzzi! And since the spotlight is about to shift from you to baby Cambruzzi, we’ll offer one last toast to you:

Vince and Kelsey, we are truly grateful to know you. While Vince and Chris go way back to college where they were founding fathers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, we have all grown closer as the years pass. You are an inspiration to both of us, and we cherish the time we get to spend with you. From backpacking to running, or from daily motivation to life advice, you’ve always been there for us. As you turn the page to a new chapter in life, we know you’ll excel at parenting and provide your baby girl with the highest degrees of unconditional love. (And, yes, Vince … You’ll be the “cool dad” 😎.) A little girl couldn’t ask for better parents. We’re so excited to watch your family grow over the years!

So here’s to a future of friendship, love, and adventure. May your family flourish as high as the mountains.

And thank you for trusting Tiffany and I to help you capture some of your best memories that will live through generations!

We love you all… All three of you 😊🥰

Ryan + Cheryl | Defiance Ridge Vineyards Wedding | Defiance, MO | 2018

And the two shall become one.
— Mark 10:8

Defiance Ridge Vineyards is beautifully nestled within the rolling hills of Missouri Wine Country, less than an hour away from St. Louis. Cheryl decided during dinner with her grandmother at Defiance Ridge Vineyards that she would have her wedding there one day.

The open vineyards highlighted Ryan and Cheryl’s emotion during their first look. This was Cheryl’s most anticipated moment of the day — the moment she saw Ryan for the first time. The moment that Ryan turned around to lay eyes on the love of his life in her wedding dress. It was so precious and made us both shed tears. In fact, we shed tears during their wedding day more than once! Cheryl’s second anticipated moment was to walk down the aisle with her father, Jeff — another very special man in her life. The bond that they share is so sweet.

We loved every piece of Ryan and Cheryl’s wedding, especially the outdoorsy, country, homey feel, as well as the importance of family and friends to all involved. We felt right at home and a part of the family that day.

To circle back briefly, although Ryan said his most anticipated moment was relaxing the next day, don’t let his words fool you… Just take a look for yourself. The pictures don’t lie. Ryan couldn’t hide his deeply genuine smile and true love for Cheryl throughout the day, especially during their first look. (Perhaps Ryan did get his wish to relax the next day, as they recently had completed construction on and moved into their new home in St. Charles, Missouri!)

There was so much to love about their day, from the beautiful vineyards (of course), and the bridal suite at the winery farmhouse (stunning!), to the cookie/favor table, the glow sticks for guests during reception, and the bonfire and S’mores out back!

OH! We almost forget our FAVORITE detail: Cheryl’s bouquet! (PS- Petal Pushers STL did a FABULOUS job arranging it!) Her bouquet featured a pin with several special pieces dear to her heart! For something old, she had a picture of her two-year-old self; a blue hockey note for something blue (HUGE Blues fans, in case you missed their engagement session!); for something borrowed, a pearl earring from her mother, Kathy; Additionally, she had two pictures of loved ones who were dear to her! Lastly, her necklace is her something new!

Ryan and Cheryl, we wish you a blessed and extraordinary marriage! CONGRATULATIONS!

Much Love,

They asked him, “How’s your life?”
He smiled and answered, “She’s fine.”

Did you know that Starbucks has a secret menu? Well, they do. And if you already knew, maybe you’ve tried Jacob’s favorite Starbucks drink: the Harry-Potter-inspired Butter Beer.

We’re here tonight congratulating Jacob and Heather. A unique couple in love paired together by Schnucks. (Wait—what?) That’s right, they met at work. They have both since moved on and advanced their careers, with Jacob in the insurance industry and Heather recently graduating from Missouri State with a BFA in Drawing (She’s the artistic one 😉🎨); but they will never forget good ole’ Schnucks. Fun fact: Jacob trained Heather at Schucks — the icebreaker necessary to break through Heather’s shy personality, leading them down a path to friendship and, ultimately, marriage.

…Well, actually, it led them UP a path… a mountain path to a Colorado summit, where he proposed. Which is why we absolutely loved their engagement story, as the mountains hold a special place in our hearts, too. Jacob and Heather love hiking, and noted that a few of their favorite Missouri hikes include Taum Sauk Trail (a 12.3-mile section of the larger Ozark Trail), Johnson's Shut-Ins, and Elephant State Park. But this fascinating couple apparently left their hearts in the Colorado Rockies, as evidenced by their plan to move there.

The good news is, this couple is on top of wedding planning, driven by Jacob’s attention to detail. Heather even believes Jacob would dominate “Don't Tell the Bride”, the BBC show where the groom plans the wedding from start to finish. (Side Poll: Would you trust your fiancé to plan your wedding start to finish!?!?!? Let us know in the comments — for fun!!!)

Check out their engagement session at Eckert’s Farm in Belleville, Illinois, and help us congratulate this couple as they venture down a new life trail!

Much Love,

Family Portrait Session at The Nature Institute in Godfrey, Illinois

We LOVE any time we get to spend with our close friends Nick and Katie and their beautiful family!

Nick and Katie proposed The Nature Institute in Godfrey, Illinois for their family portraits, which made for a spectacular photo spot. If you’re a hiker or just love the outdoors, check out this hidden gem. We explored two areas, known as the Olin Nature Preserve and the Mississippi Sanctuary, totaling over 300 acres of land. The area features multiple overlooks and several hiking trails.

We’re confident you’ll love the area! Just don’t bring your dogs! 😳🐶🚫

This family is very special to us. Chris and Nick go wayyy back. Probably too far back. In fact, Nick and Chris were roomies for four years in college. Yikes! Chris met Katie through Nick back in high school, and they also worked together years ago. (If I’m not mistaken, Nick declared his love for Katie back in high school. Fate.) Last but certainly not least, Tiffany and Ava began their friendship in Michigan after Ava declared Tiffany was her best friend.

We’ve really enjoyed watching Nick and Katie’s sweet little family grow, and we’re anxious to share their photos with you. They have three incredibly adorable children that are constantly on the go! They’d give the Energizer Bunny a run for his money. Kudos, Nick and Katie, for your stamina.

During the session, energy levels were so high that we had to bribe Ava and Isaac with M&M’s and sour gummy worms! Every few shots 📸, we rewarded them with a piece of candy. Isaac quickly informed us that he really only likes the blue gummy worms! Thanks for the heads up, buddy.

(Sorry, Nick and Katie, for the sugar high! 😂)

Your kiddos, Ava, Isaac, and Layla are so beautiful and we loved the laughter they carried throughout the session.

We are so grateful for friends like you in our lives!

❤️

Much Love // Tiffany & Chris
