Cassie and Joe: A Romantic St. Louis Wedding

“Love, laughter, and happily ever after.”

Dear Cassie and Joe,

CONGRATULATIONS, MR. AND MRS. GALMICHE!!!

This is a special blog post involving the uniting of two high school sweet hearts, generations of love, and ... well, we bet you're TOTALLY in the DARK on how Joe proposed!!!

First and foremost … Joe and Cassie’s story began 7 years ago during high school. Yes … They’re high school sweethearts!!! And after attending 13 dances together, they finally had their first husband and wife dance on September 15, 2018! Imagine what it will be like for them to one day tell their grandchildren that “Grandpa and Grandma were high school sweethearts” … !!! 💕

Oh … that’s right. Back to the story. Let me enlighten you … 🌞

Joe proposed to Cassie during totality of the solar eclipse in 2017. Cassie — completely in the dark (😂 get it!? 🤦🏻‍♂️) — just thought they were at Stone Hill Winery for the eclipse… but Joe threw her a curve ball when he got down on one knee!

Cassie’s ring is very special, too, as Joe put extra love into it. Each diamond is a gift from generations of family, now supported in a custom setting designed by Joe, which he left in bare metal to symbolize the work he does each day.

Their story has no shortage of love, that’s for sure.

Cassie, we’re very proud of you for your hard work planning such a perfect day, and commend you for successfully handing off the reigns once your wedding day began!

Joe, we’ve learned a lot about you over the past several months. Our favorites being your character and chivalry. (We may or may not have overheard talk about your respect towards Cassie’s father, and we already know how perfectly you treat your bride.) Your values are evident, and any man will be wise to take notes. Your father raised a good man.

A special thank you to all of your family and friends. They showered us with compliments and made us feel a part of the family.

And last but not least … we’ve never had so much fun at a reception. Seeing so many guests on the dance floor was fun to witness — especially the kid dance off! Shout out to the DJ, Chris Harris, for keeping the dance floor hot!

Cassie and Joe, thank you for entrusting Amber Mark Photography with your wedding photography.  We wish you many decades of love and laughter. You both have made a positive impact on us, and we hope our friendship continues!

Much Love,

Tiffany Amber & Christopher Mark

Summer Vacation Part 2: Crystal Mountain Wedding

If you missed Part 1 in our last post, you can check it out here. Make sure you catch that post and see the adorable Ava and Isaac!!

The weather couldn't have been more perfect (mid 70's and no humidity!) for Levi and DeSiree's wedding day last Saturday, 7/1/17. Their ceremony was at the Congressional Summer Assembly in Frankfort, Michigan, followed by a GORGEOUS wedding reception at the base of the ski lifts of Crystal Mountain Ski Resort in Thompsonville, Michigan.

As we mentioned in our last post (Part 1), for the first time in almost two years, we were wedding guests rather than wedding photographers... but, naturally, we did have our cameras out periodically. Of course--if you'll let me digress for a moment--because we know firsthand just how frustrating it is photographing a wedding when wedding guests are in the way taking their own photos, we were especially aware and respectful of the wedding photographers... even though the wedding photographers were Nikon users! *gasp!* ;) .

Highlights from the evening were the delectable hors d'oeuvres, the emotional toast speeches from the Father of the Bride, the Maid of Honor, and three Groomsmen, the free ski lift rides, and of course the beautiful scenery of Crystal Mountain.

Below are some of our favorite moments from Levi and DeSiree's wedding reception, including Ava (Nick and Katie's 3-year-old daughter) cutting up the dance floor with the beautiful Bride and Groom...

...more of Ava and Isaac, including a giggle-fit Isaac had in Tiffany's arms, Isaac getting a free ride from Dad (Nick), and Dan being a True Gentleman escorting Ava...

...and the beautiful couple from Chicago, Dan and Erica!! Don't be fooled by where they live...they're probably more outdoorsy than you are! The following morning at 8:00 AM EST, they set off for the south shore of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for a four-day and three-night hike along the amazing multicolored Pictured Rocks cliffs. Gotta love 'em!!

PS - Part 3 of our trip coming soon! Stay tuned!

Much Love,

TC

Alan & Cyndi's Happily Ever After

Join us in congratulating the newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Alan Robertson!!

"Finally!" the pastor said, as the Bride and Groom joined hands. He was referencing Alan's proposal to Cyndi back in 2008. But on June 17, 2017, it was evident that he married his best friend.

Cyndi is an incredibly competitive woman, and from what we learned, rarely lets Alan "one-up" her. However, despite her competitive nature, she is one of the sweetest and most genuine women we've met.

In fact, they both have a ton of energy, and genuine smiles so big, it's contagious--the kind of people that make you feel good when you're around them.

Now this post wouldn't be complete without mentioning the Ring Bearer, Rosco, who, as you see in the pictures, also said "I Do (Too)."

The Midwest humidity put up a good fight during pictures at Gordon Moore Park in Alton, Illinois, but the wedding party and photographers survived.

Alan and Cyndi, you have countless years and blessings ahead of you, and we are so excited for you!! Congratulations to you, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Robertson!! (and Rosco!)

Much Love
