Because even forever doesn’t seem long enough with you.

Happy Sunday!!

If you’re in the Greater St. Louis area this weekend, we hope that you can get outside to take advantage of slightly warmer weather. #OptOutside and hike!

Thats what Hannah is probably doing. In heels. Because she doesn’t mess around. And who knew? For their engagement session, she tackled the bluff trails of Pete Marquette in Grafton, IL like a seasoned hiker. On a cold, super windy day!

Ryan and Hannah met in a not-so-unique way these days. (Well, unless you’re talking to past generations.) This awesome couple met on Tinder. By accident. How does that happen, you ask? Well, Ryan was out to dinner and drinks with his boss and coworkers, and downloaded Tinder to show his boss how it worked. He swiped right on Hannah as he explained. Near the same time, Hannah and a friend were drinking wine and being goofy on Tinder, but fate intervened.

It took several weeks of talking before they became comfortable enough to meet, and Ryan was lucky enough to be the first guy ever to pick her up for a date at her house. After Ryan drove an hour to pick her up, they drove another hour together for Olive Garden, because they say they’re both “fatties and love pasta”!

Ryan proposed on a boat at Lake of the Ozarks. We still aren’t sure whether he cried because he’s a crier, or because shocked Hannah took a while to say ‘yes’.

This beautiful couple is already a little family with two dogs and two children. There’s never a dull moment either, because Ryan and Hannah are absolutely HILARIOUS. Ryan had us rolling the entire session. Their personalities are a match made in heaven, and we don’t expect they’ll EVER get bored of each other’s cheesy jokes.

Ryan and Hannah, we cant WAIT for your big day in 2019!! Congratulations from the bottom of our hearts!!

Much Love,

Tiffany & Chris // Amber Mark Photography

Nick + Miranda | Lafayette Square Park + The Franklin Room Wedding St Louis, MO | 2018

| Lafayette Square Park & The Franklin Room |

Miranda ... I’m picturing you in a stunning white dress, wide smile, probably a few tears in your eyes, and quite a few in mine as well, and a heart full of love and happiness, as we make one final step towards becoming husband and wife.
— Nick

Nick and Miranda —

Where to start! You’ve impacted us in so many ways, from your smiles and laughs to your ambition and positivity. It’s so contagious.

We LOVE Nick and Miranda’s spirit. We love their hearts. We love surrounding ourselves with amazing people like these two. OH! And we LOVE that they’re high school sweethearts!! A match made in heaven, indeed. 💕

And just in case you were wondering, yes … we each fought back tears more than once (naturally). For Chris, they came early in the day while Nick, alone, read a letter written by his soon-to-be wife, Miranda. And then again when Miranda read Nick’s letter aloud. The sheer passion and raw love these two share is to die for. We totally fell in love with this couple!!

Nick and Miranda chose a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Lafayette Square Park, followed by a charming reception at The Franklin Room. As you walk into this vintage ballroom, you’re greeted with 30-foot ceilings, 10-foot windows, and beautiful original maple wood floods. Built in 1905, The Franklin Room has stood the test of time in one of St. Louis’s oldest neighborhoods.

It’s so cliche, but we absolutely loved meeting Nick and Miranda and being a part of their special day. (Readers are thinking, “Uh huh. I’m sure you tell everyone that.”) YOU’RE RIGHT! We do say that to everyone. But we’re also so blessed (hashtag blessed — anyone!? 😂) to have the most amazing clients in the world. What else is there to say when each and every individual, couple, and family leaves their own lasting impression on us?!?

BUT WAIT …

Maybe there is something… that makes this couple EXTRA unique…

But you’ll have to wait until the end of the blog post to find out! ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

Did someone call the FIRE DEPARTMENT!?!?!?

Yes. Yes they did.

And that’s because we tried to burn the city down. Well, not exactly. Nick and Miranda just executed the most epic lantern send off these St. Louis City streets have seen.

Paper lanterns are special to Nick and Miranda because they did it on their first vacation together. It was only fitting to cap the happiest day of their lives together (so far!) with a lantern send off.

Enter St. Louis Fire Department Truck 11. To the rescue!! While everyone was thankful that the firefighters were understanding … Miranda was on Cloud 10 posing on and in the fire truck with her new hubby!

Needless to say, it was an epic grand finale for an epic wedding day and definitely one for the books!

Congrats,

Nick & Miranda!

💕 Much love, Tiffany & Chris

Ryan & Cheryl's Engagement Session at Creve Coeur Lake

Ryan & Cheryl's Engagement Session at Creve Coeur Lake

This lovely evening was all about Ryan and Cheryl! We were blessed with phenomenal weather for their engagement session at Creve Coeur Lake in Maryland Heights, St. Louis, Missouri. They have been dating since high school and their wedding is set for October 19, 2018 at Defiance Ridge Vineyard!! We just love October weddings and can't wait for their big day!

A Jefferson Underground Wedding: Jessica & Kurtis

Ah ... the Midwest. It's hot. Then it's cold. And this time, it was cold on the wedding day of a fabulous young St. Louis couple, Jessica and Kurtis! They were planning to tie the knot on a popular rooftop of a renovated art-deco building in the heart of St. Louis. A quick history ... General Motors Corporation purchased the property in 1920 to build St. Louis main Chevrolet dealership. Fast forward to 2002, and renovation begins to restore the building to it's original state. Fun fact: 95% of the materials used to create the rooftop space are recycled, and most of it picked up from trash/dumpsters from the area, including granite, stone, metal, bar equipment, tables, chairs, etc. How cool is that? Needless to say, the ceremony ended up being indoors due to cold temperatures, but it was still gorgeous!

Being a part of this wedding was a blast. But getting to know the Bride and Groom, Jessica and Kurtis, was a special pleasure. One of the best things about being a wedding photographer is learning about the special couple you are photographing. You learn their story. You pick up on how much they love each other. What things make them grin or embarrassed. What things make them shy. And you also learn behind-the-scene notes on items/ideas that are incorporated into the wedding and the sentimental meaning they hold dearly to the most important people of the day. We especially loved the blue heart stitched by Jessica's mother, Jane, into the back of her wedding dress, and the table display in memory of Jessica's father. Jessica and Kurtis created an extra level of specialness to their wedding day. And let’s be honest, both of us had several teary-eyed moments throughout the day as we were looking through our cameras.

As you can see, Jessica truly glowed on her wedding day! She was absolutely stunning! Even Kurtis couldn't resist smiling nonstop even though he was burnt out on taking pictures!! (Good hangin' in there, trooper!) Their reception was lovely too, and the toasts included a very special gift from the bride's mother.

As we've said before, the moody Midwest weather doesn't always like to play nice ... but that didn't stop our amazing bridal party from getting stellar images!! Such a lovely, eclectic venue that we hope to visit again soon!

It is a pleasure knowing you, Kurtis & Jessica, and we hope to stay in touch through the future!! We hope you have a WONDERFUL honeymoon!!

Congratulations!! ❤️
