You are my sun ☀️, my moon 🌙, and all my stars ✨!

We’re finding it so difficult not to begin this blog post with just saying “Wow”. But that is what keeps coming to mind while reflecting on Jacob and Heather’s wedding day at the BEAUTIFUL 200-year-old Stone House of St. Charles in St. Charles, Missouri.

Originally owned by the Cottle family more than 200 years ago, this charming 10-acre property is a page out of the history books, with humble beginnings dating back to the War of 1812. According to the Stone House of St. Charles website, it was “known as one of the finest in St. Charles County, with its architectural charm of the last century.” The stone home offers a gorgeous bridal suite, and most brides and grooms choose either the grass in front of the pergola or the newly constructed Sycamore Hall for their wedding ceremony and reception. Although newer, Sycamore Hall fits right in with the stone house and can fit up to 400 people. The current owners Ruth and Mike have done a phenomenal job with the property and Stone House of St. Charles has shot to the top of the wedding venues list in St. Louis / St. Charles area!

Jacob and Heather (in our opinion) couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue. The weather could have been a little more cooperative, but the rain cleared up just in time.

The entire day was beautiful, but some of our favorite intimate details were Heather’s necklace, a gift from her grandfather, and Heather’s HAIR! Her hair was seriously one of our favorites — we couldn’t stop talking about it!

While we spent much of our morning in the bridal suite, we must also note the very cool, fully furnished groom’s quarters, featuring TV’s and a pool table.

From the moment we first met this amazing couple we knew it would be a fabulous journey. Heather and Jacob, we are so happy for you. Your day was so enjoyable and everything so elegant. Congratulations, congratulations! ❤️ We had a blast with you, your families, and friends!

Please peruse these sneak peaks from their wedding day, and help us congratulate them on their fairytale beginnings!

Much Love,

2019

Together is a wonderful place to be.

Happy Friday y’all!

Today we’re excited to drop Ryan and Kaitlyn’s engagement session. They’re one of the sweetest couples we’ve met, and they fit right in with their goofy, laughing, and loving personalities!

These two college sweethearts got engaged last October, and Ryan’s proposal is our favorite part… The way we’ve come to understand it, it was quite the surprise. After Ryan’s sister called claiming she lost her phone while walking the dog, Ryan and Kaitlyn headed to Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park in St. Louis, MO on the hunt to find it. However, as they scoped the 2,000+ acre park, Ryan was discreetly vetting the best spot to propose! No big deal. Surprise! 💍And here we are today 🙂

When we had our first phone call with Kaitlyn earlier this year, she was super excited to tell us how much she loves our light, airy, and natural light style of photography. We had quite a fun conversation together (while Ryan off was watching a volleyball game!) and had an inkling that we’d get along fantastic. Shooting their engagement session just solidified how much fun these two are, and we’re super excited for their wedding in May 2020!

In the meantime, you two lovebirds, enjoy life’s adventures together. And enjoy these memories until we can create more on your wedding day!

Much Love!

Danny + Maddy | Christ Church Fairview Heights + 4204 Main Street Brewing Co Wedding | Belleville, IL | 2019

As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen.
— Winnie The Pooh

Have you ever met someone that leaves you smiling and laughing anytime you’re around them? Of course you have! (And no, we’re not referring to your significant other—although that’s a great answer 😉). Danny and Maddy are exactly those people. Always smiling, always laughing. Their goofiness is contagious and love is genuine. Although we just met them last year, we feel like we’ve known them much longer, simply because of their kindness and welcoming friendship.

We loved shooting their engagement session at Lafayette Square Park in St Louis, Missouri and loved being a part of their wedding day even more! 🥰 We’re sure they know, but they’re surrounded with amazing friends and a terrific family as well. Danny and Maddy were married at Christ Church in Fairview Heights, a beautiful church inside and out! Followed by bridal party portraits at The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, and lastly, their reception party at 4204 Main Street Brewing Co. in Belleville, Illinois.

It should be noted that although the St Louis Blues lost the playoff game this night, Danny was clearly winning long-term by marrying his best friend AND seeing the Blues take the 2019 Stanley Cup shortly after! Let’s go BLUES!

No matter how big or small, these two love birds said they’re looking forward to conquering all adventures in life together and we are confident that they will do just that! Danny and Maddy, we’re excited to watch your marriage grow over the years, and are excited to give you one more CONGRATULATIONS on your big day!

Much Love,

She will move mountains...

Wow! Where to start with this amazing little family. Vince and Kelsey, we love you.

Vince and Kelsey are about to go from college sweethearts to mom and dad, and we’re SO EXCITED to meet little baby Cambruzzi! And since the spotlight is about to shift from you to baby Cambruzzi, we’ll offer one last toast to you:

Vince and Kelsey, we are truly grateful to know you. While Vince and Chris go way back to college where they were founding fathers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, we have all grown closer as the years pass. You are an inspiration to both of us, and we cherish the time we get to spend with you. From backpacking to running, or from daily motivation to life advice, you’ve always been there for us. As you turn the page to a new chapter in life, we know you’ll excel at parenting and provide your baby girl with the highest degrees of unconditional love. (And, yes, Vince … You’ll be the “cool dad” 😎.) A little girl couldn’t ask for better parents. We’re so excited to watch your family grow over the years!

So here’s to a future of friendship, love, and adventure. May your family flourish as high as the mountains.

And thank you for trusting Tiffany and I to help you capture some of your best memories that will live through generations!

We love you all… All three of you 😊🥰

Mr + Mrs

This couple. We just love them! If you remember from their engagement session blog, they planned their wedding before they were engaged! —Rockstars— 🌟 We are so excited to share their wedding day blog with you!

Every detail of their day was perfect. So many personal touches. We were told that Maura’s family does nothing without purple, so purple was tied into so many details! Like the purple Hershey’s chocolate kisses!(💜💜💜) Their reception venue, Andre’s West, in old historic downtown Fenton, Missouri, features a patio that was the perfect spot for Brad and Maura’s first look. When the time came, Brad stood on the patio facing away from where Maura was going to walk in. As the waiting for Maura began and she got closer, his emotion started to show. He admitted, “Alright, I think that I might cry.” Moments later, Maura started walking toward him, with pretty much the biggest smile we have ever seen, and she tapped him on the shoulder. The joy, smiles, emotions that followed were beautiful. We won’t confirm or deny whether Brad shed some tears when he saw Maura, but we can assure you we did!

Their ceremony took place at The Jewel Box, an art-deco greenhouse gem in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri! It was stunning. The glass walls, high ceilings, and light everywhere created a breathtaking and romantic venue! Filled with greenery, a fountain, and a long aisle, this venue quickly became one of our favorites!

Brad and Maura, we loved spending your special day with you! The people that surround you are incredible! (Seriously!) Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, and kind! We felt as though we were your guests, instead of your photographers. ❤️ Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your incredible day! We are so excited to see how your world unfolds together. The two of you make one fabulous team!

Congratulations, again! Here’s to Mr & Mrs!
