Because even forever doesn’t seem long enough with you.
— unknown

Happy Sunday!!

If you’re in the Greater St. Louis area this weekend, we hope that you can get outside to take advantage of slightly warmer weather. #OptOutside and hike!

Thats what Hannah is probably doing. In heels. Because she doesn’t mess around. And who knew? For their engagement session, she tackled the bluff trails of Pete Marquette in Grafton, IL like a seasoned hiker. On a cold, super windy day!

Ryan and Hannah met in a not-so-unique way these days. (Well, unless you’re talking to past generations.) This awesome couple met on Tinder. By accident. How does that happen, you ask? Well, Ryan was out to dinner and drinks with his boss and coworkers, and downloaded Tinder to show his boss how it worked. He swiped right on Hannah as he explained. Near the same time, Hannah and a friend were drinking wine and being goofy on Tinder, but fate intervened.

It took several weeks of talking before they became comfortable enough to meet, and Ryan was lucky enough to be the first guy ever to pick her up for a date at her house. After Ryan drove an hour to pick her up, they drove another hour together for Olive Garden, because they say they’re both “fatties and love pasta”!

Ryan proposed on a boat at Lake of the Ozarks. We still aren’t sure whether he cried because he’s a crier, or because shocked Hannah took a while to say ‘yes’.

This beautiful couple is already a little family with two dogs and two children. There’s never a dull moment either, because Ryan and Hannah are absolutely HILARIOUS. Ryan had us rolling the entire session. Their personalities are a match made in heaven, and we don’t expect they’ll EVER get bored of each other’s cheesy jokes.

Ryan and Hannah, we cant WAIT for your big day in 2019!! Congratulations from the bottom of our hearts!!

Much Love,

| Engagement Session | 2018 |

Ok guys, we know it’s the day after Christmas, and many are still focusing on family time, but we love our clients and wanted to take a few minutes to share Bradley and Maura’s engagement session 💕.

We shot the lovely Bradley and Maura’s engagement session at Tower Grove Park in St, Louis. If you know these two, then you are well aware of the countless reasons to love this couple. Most importantly, they’re dog lovers (✔️). Their laughter together is on call (✔️). They can also nail a twirl like Christina Yamaguchi on grass (✔️), and their recently proven track record of pre-engagement wedding planning secures the “Overachievers” title! (✔️)!!

When we first met Bradley and Maura, they were not engaged yet but had already been wedding planning. During planning, Maura’s mother, Linda, took her on a girl’s weekend to the Ozarks. Early the following morning, Maura’s father picked up Bradley right after his night shift and drove him to the Ozarks to catch the girls on a morning walk. From there, Bradley proposed, and the rest is history (in the making)!

A special “thank you” to Maura’s mother, Linda, for wrangling their two dogs during our session. Major kudos!

All in all, Bradley and Maura provided a great example of how a loving and playful marriage truly should be—and they’re not even there yet! We know they’ll be just fine as husband and wife!!

CONGRATULATIONS Brad and Maura!!!

With love,

Tiffany & Chris // Amber Mark Photography

They told me that to make her fall in love, I had to make her laugh. But every time she laughs, I’m the one who falls in love.”

I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream.
— Sleeping Beauty

Clayton and Melanie are such a beautiful couple!

This dream couple met in the Ozarks and began dating in May 2014. Their fairytale life kicked off with a Disney World proposal after an epic turn of events. (This is the BEST!!!) Melanie was surprising Clayton with a Disney trip for graduation, but his parents knew he wanted to propose so they told him! Clayton ended up recruiting both his family and Melanie’s family and planned a surprise proposal in Disney World during (what Melanie thought!) HIS own surprise trip!!!

Well, maybe that’s not the ONLY epic turn of events … the first one being the fact that Melanie said she did not like him when they first met!!!

This is clearly a WIN-WIN for both parties 😁

We LOVED laughing with this couple and shooting their engagement pictures at Tower Grove Park in St. Louis, Missouri.

Send over a CONGRATULATIONS to this lovely couple. They’ll be getting married in 2019 at the St. Charles Presbyterian Church followed by a Jefferson Underground reception!

Much Love and CONGRATULATIONS to you, Clayton and Melanie!

Nick + Miranda | Lafayette Square Park + The Franklin Room Wedding St Louis, MO | 2018

Miranda ... I’m picturing you in a stunning white dress, wide smile, probably a few tears in your eyes, and quite a few in mine as well, and a heart full of love and happiness, as we make one final step towards becoming husband and wife.
— Nick

Nick and Miranda —

Where to start! You’ve impacted us in so many ways, from your smiles and laughs to your ambition and positivity. It’s so contagious.

We LOVE Nick and Miranda’s spirit. We love their hearts. We love surrounding ourselves with amazing people like these two. OH! And we LOVE that they’re high school sweethearts!! A match made in heaven, indeed. 💕

And just in case you were wondering, yes … we each fought back tears more than once (naturally). For Chris, they came early in the day while Nick, alone, read a letter written by his soon-to-be wife, Miranda. And then again when Miranda read Nick’s letter aloud. The sheer passion and raw love these two share is to die for. We totally fell in love with this couple!!

Nick and Miranda chose a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Lafayette Square Park, followed by a charming reception at The Franklin Room. As you walk into this vintage ballroom, you’re greeted with 30-foot ceilings, 10-foot windows, and beautiful original maple wood floods. Built in 1905, The Franklin Room has stood the test of time in one of St. Louis’s oldest neighborhoods.

It’s so cliche, but we absolutely loved meeting Nick and Miranda and being a part of their special day. (Readers are thinking, “Uh huh. I’m sure you tell everyone that.”) YOU’RE RIGHT! We do say that to everyone. But we’re also so blessed (hashtag blessed — anyone!? 😂) to have the most amazing clients in the world. What else is there to say when each and every individual, couple, and family leaves their own lasting impression on us?!?

BUT WAIT …

Maybe there is something… that makes this couple EXTRA unique…

But you’ll have to wait until the end of the blog post to find out! ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

Did someone call the FIRE DEPARTMENT!?!?!?

Yes. Yes they did.

And that’s because we tried to burn the city down. Well, not exactly. Nick and Miranda just executed the most epic lantern send off these St. Louis City streets have seen.

Paper lanterns are special to Nick and Miranda because they did it on their first vacation together. It was only fitting to cap the happiest day of their lives together (so far!) with a lantern send off.

Enter St. Louis Fire Department Truck 11. To the rescue!! While everyone was thankful that the firefighters were understanding … Miranda was on Cloud 10 posing on and in the fire truck with her new hubby!

Needless to say, it was an epic grand finale for an epic wedding day and definitely one for the books!

Congrats,

Nick & Miranda!

💕 Much love, Tiffany & Chris

Lexy: Class of 2019 | Senior Portraits at Willoughby Heritage Farm

We love seniors for many reasons. The obvious: they’re sweet, fun, hip, and more fashionable than us. And they’re at the intersection of high school and deciding how they’re going to make their mark on the world.

In a few months, Lexy will be doing just that after graduating from Southwestern High School — GO PIASA BIRDS!

We visited Willoughby Heritage Farm in Collinsville, Illinois for her first senior session — the same location we shot her sister’s wedding (Lauren) in September 2016! And yes, you read that correctly … this senior is such a talented and busy lady that she needed TWO senior sessions to capture all of her hobbies!

“Whoa, whoa, whoa… what’s a Piasa Bird?” you ask? Well, just take a gander at this giant creature (link provided). Legend has it, “The Piasa” hunted along the bluffs of the Mississippi River near Alton, Illinois during the time of the Illiniwek Indians. (Don’t worry, Chief Ouatoga devised a plan to slay the dragon.)

Anyway, back to our feature senior. Here’s to Class of 2019, Lexy!!! You’re about the conquer the world.

Don’t forget! This is just Part One! Catch Part Two coming soon!

Much Love,

Tiffany Amber & Christopher Mark
