| Engagement Session | 2018 |

Ok guys, we know it’s the day after Christmas, and many are still focusing on family time, but we love our clients and wanted to take a few minutes to share Bradley and Maura’s engagement session 💕.

We shot the lovely Bradley and Maura’s engagement session at Tower Grove Park in St, Louis. If you know these two, then you are well aware of the countless reasons to love this couple. Most importantly, they’re dog lovers (✔️). Their laughter together is on call (✔️). They can also nail a twirl like Christina Yamaguchi on grass (✔️), and their recently proven track record of pre-engagement wedding planning secures the “Overachievers” title! (✔️)!!

When we first met Bradley and Maura, they were not engaged yet but had already been wedding planning. During planning, Maura’s mother, Linda, took her on a girl’s weekend to the Ozarks. Early the following morning, Maura’s father picked up Bradley right after his night shift and drove him to the Ozarks to catch the girls on a morning walk. From there, Bradley proposed, and the rest is history (in the making)!

A special “thank you” to Maura’s mother, Linda, for wrangling their two dogs during our session. Major kudos!

All in all, Bradley and Maura provided a great example of how a loving and playful marriage truly should be—and they’re not even there yet! We know they’ll be just fine as husband and wife!!

CONGRATULATIONS Brad and Maura!!!

With love,

Nick + Miranda | Lafayette Square Park + The Franklin Room Wedding St Louis, MO | 2018

| Lafayette Square Park & The Franklin Room |

Miranda ... I’m picturing you in a stunning white dress, wide smile, probably a few tears in your eyes, and quite a few in mine as well, and a heart full of love and happiness, as we make one final step towards becoming husband and wife.
— Nick

Nick and Miranda —

Where to start! You’ve impacted us in so many ways, from your smiles and laughs to your ambition and positivity. It’s so contagious.

We LOVE Nick and Miranda’s spirit. We love their hearts. We love surrounding ourselves with amazing people like these two. OH! And we LOVE that they’re high school sweethearts!! A match made in heaven, indeed. 💕

And just in case you were wondering, yes … we each fought back tears more than once (naturally). For Chris, they came early in the day while Nick, alone, read a letter written by his soon-to-be wife, Miranda. And then again when Miranda read Nick’s letter aloud. The sheer passion and raw love these two share is to die for. We totally fell in love with this couple!!

Nick and Miranda chose a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Lafayette Square Park, followed by a charming reception at The Franklin Room. As you walk into this vintage ballroom, you’re greeted with 30-foot ceilings, 10-foot windows, and beautiful original maple wood floods. Built in 1905, The Franklin Room has stood the test of time in one of St. Louis’s oldest neighborhoods.

It’s so cliche, but we absolutely loved meeting Nick and Miranda and being a part of their special day. (Readers are thinking, “Uh huh. I’m sure you tell everyone that.”) YOU’RE RIGHT! We do say that to everyone. But we’re also so blessed (hashtag blessed — anyone!? 😂) to have the most amazing clients in the world. What else is there to say when each and every individual, couple, and family leaves their own lasting impression on us?!?

BUT WAIT …

Maybe there is something… that makes this couple EXTRA unique…

But you’ll have to wait until the end of the blog post to find out! ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

Did someone call the FIRE DEPARTMENT!?!?!?

Yes. Yes they did.

And that’s because we tried to burn the city down. Well, not exactly. Nick and Miranda just executed the most epic lantern send off these St. Louis City streets have seen.

Paper lanterns are special to Nick and Miranda because they did it on their first vacation together. It was only fitting to cap the happiest day of their lives together (so far!) with a lantern send off.

Enter St. Louis Fire Department Truck 11. To the rescue!! While everyone was thankful that the firefighters were understanding … Miranda was on Cloud 10 posing on and in the fire truck with her new hubby!

Needless to say, it was an epic grand finale for an epic wedding day and definitely one for the books!

Congrats,

Nick & Miranda!

💕 Much love, Tiffany & Chris

Harper & Melissa: A Bridal Shower in Swansea, IL ✨💍💕

So, there's this girl. Let me tell you about her--she's pretty, funny, feisty, Jesus-loving!, smart, sweet, goofy, strong and sometimes bossy! 😜 JK! Or am I? ☺️ She has a heart for people, missions and food. We joke about it, but seriously, she loves food!!

That girl that I mentioned above shared a bedroom with me for many years. That girl made sure I made it to work on time. She left me love/encouragement notes, washed my car with me, ran down the stairs early Christmas morning before everyone else and had pre-stocking time with me. I'll admit, I stole that girl's clothes a lot, but she definitely did her fair share of stealing too. Lol! We always made gas station runs together for juice before Christmas. (I have no idea why we started that!) Oh and if you ever feel like sitting on her or using her as a foot stool, she will let you! 😂

She's been my one of my best friends since November 12, 1997 when she was born (with some crazy hair!). Her name is Melissa and that girl, is my sister.

My sister has always been someone that I have looked up to, even though she is younger than me. She doesn't know that she does it but everyone who meets her, falls in love with her. Melissa has a personality that pulls people in. That's exactly what happened with Harper too. 😊 Little did she know it, but God began writing her love story earlier this summer.

Harper, if you are reading this, thank you for being a Godly man and caring for my sister's heart. You're taking on a pretty big task but you've got what it takes! Always remember that when she lets her stubborn side show, just offer her your hoodie and some ice cream! She will come around!!

Harper and Melissa, your bridal shower was stunning! I loved all the mixed pinks and blues. December 30th, 2017 is coming up quick and we can't wait for you to become Mr. & Mrs. Harper Roderick! We are so excited for you guys and look forward to seeing where God uses you in the future. You make a beautiful couple and shine true joy! Congratulations!

We love you both! 💕

Jessica & Kurtis's Engagement Session at Lafayette Park

We first met these two fine looking lovebirds at St. Louis Bread Company a few months back, and instantly found a ton in common, from the love of our dogs to the area we grew up in! Just a couple weeks after meeting, Tiffany was speaking with a woman who turned out to be Jessica's mother, Jane! What a small world! Jane gave Tiffany a peek of Jessica's (gorgeous!) wedding dress, which was really exciting.

This weekend, we were able to pull Kurtis away from his projects and work and got him to share some smiles with us and his beautiful future bride, Jessica. As soon as we met this lovely couple at Lafayette Park in St. Louis, we thought we were going to have an extra helper along for the ride because Jessica ran in to her boss, Mary--who is extremely nice and appeared to have an endless supply of high energy!! She was super excited to get to see Jessica and Kurtis before we all scurried off for engagement pictures. Of course, we had to work around another wedding ceremony and reception taking place at the park, but that was no big deal. It was great weather and we all rocked it!

Kurtis and Jessica, we can't thank you enough for trusting us with your engagement and wedding photography! It's been such a pleasure meeting you and spending some time getting to know you better... and we can't WAIT for your wedding this fall!!

Much Love,

Tiffany & Chris

Blake & Abbie's Engagement Session at Wilmor Sportsman's Club

Aaaaand that’s a wrap!

Last weekend we had the privilege of photographing the love of two of our close friends at the Wilmor Sportsmans Club. As Tiffany and I headed out of St. Louis, we drove through torrential rain, so it was EXTREMELY refreshing to be greeted two and a half hours later with clear skies, beautiful sunshine, genuine smiles and long-lost hugs. The weather turned out perfect! Guess our “rain dance” worked!

Blake and Abbie, you both were SO much fun to work with. We had a blast! Abbie is definitely the firecracker in the relationship (and, don’t tell Blake, but she wears the pants in the relationship too!). Blake is hardworking and loves the outdoors, and although he won’t admit it, he had a blast during our photography session! You’ve got an amazing catch there, Abbie…he’ll be an amazing husband and provider. (And he might even smile every now and then!) Will he be hunting our food for the wedding reception? We’re hoping so… We are so excited for your wedding! It’s going to be … LEGENDARY!!!

Much Love
